Business Meeting
CALLED TO ORDER at 7:00p.m. by John Novick, President - 31 Members Present
President's Reports/Comments:

Secretary's Response: "Yes, we do."
- Steve Amato sold 50/50 tickets for the Tom Staggs Memorial Fund.
- Anyone interested in running for an office, please let Jack Messemer,
Dave Smart or Marv Imes know, so they can put your name on the ballot.
We are in desperate need for someone to run for Secretary, we cannot
have a club without one. Also, we need someone for Sunshine Lady since
our current Sunshine Lady is running for Treasurer.
Vice Presidents's Report/Comments: Ed Fitzpatrick - The Horse Sisters Car Show was a great success with about 125 cars and motorcycles. Our club member,Bob Shearer, won for his interior of his beautiful Oldsmobile. - Just a reminder, the fourth ($th) Saturday of each month, therre is a car show at Hooters's on Merritt Island. Club members who plan to attend can meet at the Publix parking lot on US#1.in Port St. John at 3:00 p.m. If you have any questions please check the bulletin board. - Bob Arnold explained to the Club members why the Horse Sisters Car Show was in a different location than where we had our car show. The City of Titusville passed an ordinance that makes it almost impossible to warrant the cost of having a car show where we did at the Point. Treasurer's Report: Crystal Arnold - Crystal was absent, the report was read by the Secretary. Billy Craft motioned to accept the report and was seconded by Jack Messemer and the report passed unanimously. Secretary's Report: Donna Messemer - Minutes of the August 16, 2007 meeting were read, motion to accept was made by Sue Fitzpatrick and seconded by Steve Amato and passed unanimously. Sunshine Lady Report: Bobbi Jo Brandeberry - "As far as I know", she says, "everyone is healthy at present." Website Report: Bob Arnold - Bob told the club that it is renewal time for the Web Server at a cost of $204.00 for the year. Bob, also told us that as of next year he will no longer be our Webmaster. With that news, Matt Amato voulunteered to take the job. Bob offered his help, if Matt has any problems. Elaine Fitzwater motioned to have the club pay the $204.00. Steve Amato Seconded and the motion passed.Bob has been receiving e-mails asking for member's numbers; please check our website. OLD BUSINESS -- CLUB LICENSE PLATES: Dave Smart still has five (5)club license plates left. -- IMPORTANT CLUB MEETINGS: The October 18, 2007 business meeting is at LaBamba's, a Mexican Restaurant, (the former Crab Shuttle Restaurant) on US#1 in Titusville at 7:00 p.m. -- 50/50: Steve Amato collected $84.00. The Tom Staggs Memorial Fund received $42.00 and Linda Novick won the other $42.00 and donated it to the same fund. -- October 28, 2007: The Victory Baptist Church, 242 Capron Road, Port St. John is having a Fall Celebration. They have asked our club if we would have a few of our vehicles display between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Billy Craft is chairing this event, and the church has offered free lunch to any of the participants. -- October 31, 2007: The First Christian Church of Titusville, 2880 Jay Jay Road, Titusville is celebrating Halloween Night. They would like to have some older vehicles for display during their event. Anyone interested, please contact John Novick. -- Turkey Rod Run: We are all set and are registered for the Turkey Rod Run. We have the identical spot we had last year. New Business: -- CLUB PICNIC: Saturday, October 20,2007 is the club picnic at Bob Shearer's house. The picnic will start at 11:00 a. m., and there will be more instruction on the Bulletin Board s to when we will all meet and proceed to Bob and Joann's house. Bob and Joann are provideing the chicken and small steaks, and Kathy Craft is coordinating the side dishes and desserts. Our club thanks Bob and Joann for all their kindness and generosity. -- CHRISTMAS PARTY: Our Chairperson, Joan Amato has scheduled our party for Thursday, December 13, 2007 at the Great Outdoors. Rte. 50, Titusville. At the moment it looks like we will have our choice of Oven Sirloin or a Chicken Dish ranging in between $25.00 and $31.00. This includes soup, salad, entree, dessert and tip. Sue Fitzpatrick motioned to accept the arrangements for the party, Linda Novick seconded and it passed unanimously. The money for the party must be collected no later than the November business meeting. -- NASA EXPO:Elaine Fitzwater has again contracted our club to do the parking for the show. The date of the Expo is October 16, 2007. Many thanks for all the good work Elaine has brought our way. MEETING ADJOURNED - 8:05 P.M.
