Cruising on Saturday, March 11, 2006

It was another beautiful day in Paradise. This weekend we had members cruising to Old Town and New Smyrna Beach. The Old Town Cruise met a the PSJ exit and cruised over to Kissimmee. No 'near misses' were reported on the trip over there. This was a first in quite awhile. Tom Staggs, Bob Arnold and Billy Craft parked in the 'Drop Your Top' area. The Edsel's were there this weekend putting on a great display on the red bricks. What a great car that was way before its time. All three of our guys reported having lots of fun. Both Billy and Tom won some great door prizes. Bob struck out. But, he did take Valerie, Michael Kelly's girlfriend, on the evenings cruise. Bob says that was better than winning another ride on the bull. It was a long day as they were able to help distribute our IRF flyers.

Our other group that reported in was John Novick, Ed Fitzpatrick, Terry Brandeberry and Jack Valerio. They cruised up to New Smyrna. They reported huge crowds on Canal Street and were successful handing out all those IRF Car Show flyers.
