We left Lowe's at 8AM heading to the Mid Florida Mustang Club's 19th Annual Car Show at Waterford Lakes Shopping Center in Orlando on Saturday, Feb. 25. All got situated in our places--Sue Fitzpatrick and her Mustang in the feature car portion of the show and the remainder with the assorted Fords present. Maynard & Barbara Stutzman, Jerry & Pee Wee Doucette, Terry & Bobbie Jo Brandeberry, John & Linda Novick, Ed & Sue Fitzpatrick, Dave Smart & Ruth Miller all brought vehicles. Stopping by to visit during the day were Carolyn & Mike Schuler and Bob Kelly. Apologies to any one who was missed. The men spent most of their time there passing out IRF fliers and doing what men do at car shows. The women spent most of the day doing what women do at this particular car show, shop. The festivities were shortened when several showers came through early in the afternoon. Prizes were awarded by popular vote. Our own John Novick won a first place in the 1940-1949 class for his coupe. Bobbie Jo and Terry won a third place for their red truck, Miss Behavin'. Congratulations folks! Their trophies were very unusual, maybe they will bring them to our next meeting to show them off! A safe trip home rounded out a nice, though damp, day. All you Ford people should put this show on your calendar for next year!
