President’s Report/Comments: John Novick
Do we have a quorum[1]? Secretary answers, “Yes, we do.”
Sue Loftis introduces her guests, Cheryl Lawson-Young, one of the guiding forces for Titusville and her friend, Elaine Johnson.
Steve Amato sold 50/50 tickets for the Tom Staggs Memorial Fund.
Our Nominating Committee for this year is Dave Smart, Marv Imes and chaired by Jack Messemer.
A brief report on my health, it was not my lungs but my heart and I’ll no longer have to use the oxygen.
Vice President’s Report/Comments: Ed Fitzpatrick
There is going to be a cruise-in at Beach Street in Daytona, Saturday, August 18, 2007. The group will be leaving from the Scottsmore Citgo at 3:00 PM.
Treasurer’s Report: Crystal Arnold
Crystal was absent, no report read.
Secretary’s Report: Donna Messemer
Minutes of the July 19, 2007 were read, motion to except was made by Billy Craft and seconded by Sue Fitzpatrick and passed unanimously.
Sunshine Lady Report: Bobbi Jo Brandeberry
I sent Nina and Fred Park the club minutes and anyother interesting tidbits about our club. Fred let us know that Nina in holding her own.
Fred wanted the club to know that he has a covered three (3) car carrier for sale. If you or anyone you know is interested contact Bobbi.
Also I found out tonight that Jack DeMarco went on vacation and ended up having back surgery.

OLD BUSINESS:
CLUB LICENSE PLATES: Dave Smart still has a few club license plates, they are $20.00 a pop.
WEDDING PARTY: The wedding party is looking for at least five (5) antique or cool cars to use to transport the wedding party to the reception on Saturday, November 10, 2007. They prefer convertibles, especially for the bride and groom but other types vehicles that two (2) of the party could be chaffered in would be acceptable. The vehicles would be needed about 5 to 5:30PM at the Indian River United Methodist Church, 1355 Cheney Highway. The procession would go from the church, all the way down Barna to Harrison, all the way down DeLeon then left onto South Street to the reception at the Senior Center.
The wedding party would like to extend an invitation to the reception for anyone chaffering the party.
RIVER WALK CRUISE: Joe Baldwin is still organizing a group cruise to the car show the end of September. Check the bulletin board for more information.
CLUB MEETINGS: Rip Dyal brought up a suggestion to have our meetings at LaBamba’s on US 1 in Titusville. The place has 60 parking spots and a meeting room that hold 80 people.
It was agreed by the club to have our October 18, 2007 business meeting at LaBamba’s, a Mexican restaurant, on US1 in Titusville at 7:00PM.
50/50: Steve Amato collected $72.00. The Tom Staggs Memorial Fund received $36.00 and Jack Valerio won the other $36.00.
IMPORTANT TURKEY ROD RUN: Parking, Jack Messemer, as of this date, said Bob had only six (6) people registered. Bob said if you haven’t registered yet, go to the internet and print out a registration and get it to him within the next four (4) days. Make checks payable to: Daytona Street Rods.
