Finance Committee report Crystal Arnold Chairperson
The following areas of expenses need to be adjusted to meet our projected costs of operation in 2007
INDIAN RIVER CAR SHOW
The 2006 show netted the club about ¼ the profits we enjoyed in the past. With the Camber and their vendor not assisting us and raising some fees at the last minute; contrary to our agreement with them, and other organizations not able to support with trophy donations, we should consider modifying or ending this show and perhaps replace it with a smaller more manageable endeavor. The Tico Planes Trains and Cars show was brought up as an example. This could be one where our club would need to invest no cash to present a good show.
Another area where our costs have increased is the club’s insurance premium for our required policy has doubled. It has gone from a little over $500 to over $1,000.

SARGENT OF ARMS by Jack Messemer, President
Though we do have a roster of members for the current year, we are not able to identify who has paid dues; therefore members in good standing.
Because we will have a better grip on who has and has not paid, we will need someone to track the attendance to meetings and events that are intended to be club only activities. I have asked Swany and Joe to be our Sergent of Arms and assist us with this task.
A roster will be at the door at each meeting listing all members in good standing and we will check them off as the enter. There will be provisions also for guests of the club.
EXPO PARKING
The show is on Tuesday 10/17 and we need to be there by 0600. NASA has taken over this expo so there will be no free food this time.
PLANES TRAINS & CARS SHOW
This show will be held at Tico Airport. We should make every effort to be there and show our colors (wear the club T shirt). This is the show that we may be asked to take over some day. The date 10/28 and it runs from 10 to 3. It would be a good idea to caravan in.
