NASA Expo Parking, Oct. 18th, 2005
Our club once again came through with a great job of parking over a thousand cars for this year's edition of the NASA Expo Business Exhibit. As always, the day started early for our group of volunteers. We started putting out the parking signs at 6 AM around the Port of Canaveral's Terminal #3. The vendors were lining up at 6:30 AM followed by the opening of the Expo at 9 AM. Helping out this year was Elaine Fitzwater, who gets us this annual fund raiser. Working the main entrance was Dave Smart. Donna Messemer and Kathy Craft checked in the vendors. Maynard Stutzman, Ed Fitzpatrick and Bob Arnold worked the 'curb.' Marv Imes took care of the assigned parking lots. Every thing went just as clock work and the club will receive several hundred dollars for these volunteer's efforts. Way to go guys and big THANK YOU!
