Warbird Air Show, March 17, 2007
The 2007 Valiant Air Command's annual Warbird Show included the Vintage Vehicles Car Show. This was the first time in about 8 or 10 years that we have done this show. We hope to make this a premier car show over the next few years. We had a great turn out of workers from the club and my thanks goes out to all of them. We (as was the VAC) on a learning curve and had to make several adjustments as the VAC security people kept changing our ingress route, but our steadfast crew easily coped with the situation and we kept everyone happy. We were limited by the VAC on how many cars were allowed on the field and had about 40 cars in attendance, including our own. The VAC was extremely pleased with our addition to their show and have asked us to come back next year in greater numbers. We have a potential to park 300 + cars on the allotted field and hope to build up to that in the coming years. Again I thank those who came out and worked the show, making it a huge success.
